Optical & Linear Encoders
BEI Industrial Encoders supplies industrial-quality rotary optical shaft angle encoders, inductive linear encoders, and electronic interfaces. Products manufactured at BEI Industrial Encoders feature a wide range of resolutions from 1 cycle per turn up to 80,000 cycles per turn, including commutation tracks for motor control. Micro-Switches & Limit Switches
Micro-Switches
Crouzet offers a wide range of micro-switches starting from low current level to up to 20Amp, actuated with less than 1 gf up to 400gf, for normal conditions to harsh industrial environments.
The V3 and V4 non-sealed ranges represent the most popular types with standardized dimensions. Their high performance is compliant with a wide range of applications such as general industry, home appliances, consumer electronic products, medical, access controls…and more.
In addition, the V3 range offers specific extreme characteristics, with an ultra-light operating force or a large contact gap > 3mm able to break high current for safety, or a positive opening contact break for high safety requirements.
The V4 range, in a smaller size, can also make the difference with a mushroom plunger type, which affords side actuating up to 45°, offering ease of operation.
Other switch versions complete the range, such as the 83 133 or 83 106. These offer a possibility of bi-stable switching – quite helpful to maintain a position for liquid level indication, for example. To offer customers the right switch solution for their devices, Crouzet adapts standard catalogue products to the specific applications or machines.
To guarantee maximum security, Crouzet has developed a large range of waterproof switches, tough in harsh environments, whatever the industrial setting.
With the IP66 or IP67 ratings, the various sizes offered will fit into the most standard insertions, either flat with a total rubber envelop for welding torch or tail lift remote control, or the more standardized V3 or V4 sealed for medical or forklift.
The V5 sealed switch is the newest product at Crouzet, and is a strong performer in the smallest size possible with the longest overtravel on the field. The button can be operated with actuation angles of up to 45°, making it possible to not have to use a lever in some cases.
Limit switches
Crouzet has a long history of developing a wide range of safe and robust limit switches for a broad range of applications in severe environments.
Crouzet not only produces standardized versions, which makes it easy to fit these switches with a large variety of contact configurations, but they have also extended their range to in order to respond to field specifics – for example, the 83 870 range and its 83 880, specific to the American market.
Crouzet understands the effect of severe conditions on products like a professional lawnmower, for example – covered in dust, mud and water and in permanent vibration. For this reason, Crouzet makes its products to withstand not only these conditions, but harsher ones as well.

Potentiometric

LVDTs & RVDTs
For nearly 50 years, Kavlico has delivered high performance displacement/position sensors for a wide range of position feedback measurement applications for the power generation industry. These ruggedly designed sensors feature hermetically sealed, stainless steel housings for hostile environmental conditions, have high resolution, excellent repeatability, and have low hysteresis. Custom designs and a broad range of certifications are available to meet application-specific requirements.
Typical applications include: Modulating valves, actuators, stator vane guide systems, and governors. Kavlico provides both LVDT (linear position) and RVDT (rotary position) designs.

Brushless DC Motors
Crouzet and BEI Kimco Magnetics have one of the largest ranges of Brushless motors and solutions:
- Standard industrial motors (from 10 up to 250 w) adapted for a broad range of applications
- High performance direct motors: low speed and high torque motors (up to 4 Nm), high speed (up to 100 000 rpm), very low noise motors, high volume power motors for demanding applications…

Gear Motors
Crouzet has produced gearboxes for more than 50 years. In 1957 Crouzet launched the first ovoïde gearbox. This innovative solution has a very large gear reduction (1 : 9,000,000,000) in a very small design. Millions of units have been produced.

Pressure Sensors
Kavlico offers a range of highly accurate, reliable, and cost-effective standard pressure sensors and transducers for a variety of industrial applications. These sensors have been configured for severe duty and operate over a wide temperature range in high vibration environments. Customers can choose from brass, stainless or composite housing materials as well as choosing the electrical and process connection from a list of standards. Pressure ranges are available from ± 1" H20 through 4,000 PSI gage, sealed gage, absolute, differential pressure as well as a combined pressure/temperature sensors.
