CST
will be exhibiting at the upcoming Sensors Expo & Conference 2008
Tradeshow. The show will be held in Rosemont, Illinois from June
10 - 11. In the past, this show has brought in nearly 200
exhibiting companies, and close to 4,000 attendees. This year,
those numbers are expected to be even higher.
This Sensors Expo & Conference
show is the only industry event in North America exclusively focusing
on sensors and sensor-integrated systems. Our CST booth will be
located in Hall G, and our booth number is 609.
We hope to see you there !!!

Crouzet's Subminiature Snap-action Switch Features Longest Overtravel on the Market !!
Crouzet's
V5 Sealed (V5S) snap-action switch is ideal for a wide variety of uses
on passenger cars and trucks. These miniature switches
incorporate the longest available overtravel on the market. The V5S's
subminiature size and cost-effective mounting options - in an IP67
fully sealed package - are ideal for critical space applications.
Typical applications include position measurements for door latches,
convertible tops, steering column, electronic window control, vanity
mirrors, interior lighting, occupant sensing and gear shift position.

Encoders Go Wireless with BEI Industrial Encoders' SwiftComm™ Interface
Real-time wireless control is finally a reality with BEI Industrial Encoders' introduction of SwiftComm, a wireless interface for encoders. SwiftComm
was designed for motion control applications, providing an extremely
robust wireless signal in real time over a secure network. Unlike
other wireless technology, such as Wi-Fi, SwiftComm's fast boot-up and
transmission time allow it to seamlessly interface with existing
control systems. Simply connect the SwiftComm transmitter to your
encoder and the SwiftComm receiver to your control system and apply
power. Costly and time-consuming cabling can now be a thing of
the past.

Kavlico Offers a PCB Mount Pressure Sensor with Optional Digital Output
Kavlico's
P6050 pressure sensor is a low-profile, surface-mount device that is
compatible with standard PCB assembly methods. The sensor incorporates
a piezo-resistive sensing technology that allows for a miniature
package design and flexible pressure ranges. This
temperature-compensated unit is available in absolute, gage or
differential configurations with pressure ranges from 0-13" H20 to 0-75
PSI, and is designed for a variety of industrial and medical
uses. The P6050
requires a 5 Vdc power supply and is available with a standard analog
linear amplified output of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc proportional to pressure.
System designers can select a standard voltage output device or
alternative digital SPI output.

CST at the Farnborough Airshow !!!
The Farnborough International Air Show will be taking place this Summer from July 14 - 20 in Farnborough, England. Two of CST's companies, servicing the Aerospace & Defense Markets, will be at the show. They will be displaying their latest product offerings for the Avionics Industry. Kavlico will
have their position sensors (LVDTs and RVDTs), force sensors, pressure
sensors and cockpit control devices on display, while Systron Donner Inertial (SDI)
will be featuring their single-axis and multi-axis inertial rate
sensors, their Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) - which combine rate
and acceleration measurements, as well as their MEMS GPS/INS
devices. The show will be celebrating 60 years at the Farnborough
Aerodome. Over the many decades of the show's history, aircraft
manufacturers have previewed dozens of new aircraft.
So...save the date and head over to Farnborough, where you can check out Kavlico and SDI in Hall 3, at Stand D28 !!!
